MaryBeth & Matthew celebrate the 125th anniversary of the Meredith Public Library building. They reveal that the building was a gift to the town from a former resident in 1901. They also reveal the original price of the project. (Try to guess before you listen!) Marybeth and Matthew share the original article written in June 1901 about the opening day ceremony in the hometown newspaper, The Meredith News, which still publishes weekly today as it did 125 years ago. Finally, they narrate the heartfelt poem also created for and read at the opening ceremony.
