Exciting news! The Meredith Public Library is thrilled to introduce our new initiative - the Library of Things! We're transforming our space into a hub of shared resources, and we need your help to make it a success.
For those who don’t know, a Library of Things is a collection housed within our library where you can borrow more than just books. Imagine having access to tools, gadgets, and unique items for various needs. From DIY projects to special occasions, we're curating a collection that goes beyond the ordinary.
We're calling on our community to contribute to this innovative project by donating new or gently used items. Your kitchen appliances, camping gear, board games, and more can find a new home in our Library of Things, becoming valuable resources for everyone in our community.
Click this link to find a list of objects we are currently accepting at the MPL. To ensure the success of our Library of Things, we kindly request that only items from the provided list be donated. Unfortunately, we are unable to accept items not explicitly listed at this time.
Any items we choose not to include in our Library of Things collection will be thoughtfully donated to local charities or organizations in need.
